That’s what Las Mermeladas are all about. Every 3rd Wednesday, musicians of all ages and skill levels come together to create music in the moment, led by José Roberto Hernández. Whether you play an instrument, love to sing, or simply want to listen and dance, there’s a place for you here. Don’t play? No problem. Bring the kids, bring a friend, or come solo and enjoy the vibe. Share a meal from Los Cilantros, sip a drink, and let yourself be surrounded by music and community in a casual, welcoming space. Free and open to all (donations for musicians are appreciated) Useful tips: There is free neighborhood street parking, a #18 bus stop directly in front, and Ashby BART 3 blocks away.
