Description: With Barbed Wire Open Mic Series The Barbed Wire Open Mic Series is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting, the "Stay at Home Open Mic", 8pm - 11pm Mountain Time (US). This is a virtual open mic held for poets, writers, and musicians on Zoom and streamed LIVE on our Youtube channel. Y ou can also catch past shows and other content on our Youtube channel. Help us out by subscribing and liking videos: Fo llow us online to be kept up to date on future events and content: Online Open Mic rules / suggestions: Per formances are limited to 5-7 minutes each, and we are offering up to 25 guaranteed performance slots. We welcome poetry, prose, music, and "cover poems" Please familiarize yourself with the Zoom software beforehand for best results. Please keep your mic muted unless it is your turn to read and/or you want to applaud after another performer's performance. The first 20 minutes of the hour are dedicated to sound and tech check. RESPECT THE MIC & ONE ANOTHER: There will be no tolerance for hate speech, bullying, sexual misconduct, or other inappropriate behavior.
