Description: 7:00 - 8:00 pm Basics 8:00 - 9:30 pm Advanced Circle Instructor: Shira Schwartz Journey to Israel through dance and music! Enjoy the vibrant, engaging music of Israel, and its diverse styles, rhythms, and movements. Shira will open the session with classic beginner dances, then teach one or two dances, followed by request repertoire. Dances will be reviewed week by week so you, too, can build a repertoire of beautiful Israeli dances. Shira Schwartz studied Israeli dance in Israel and has been leading Israeli recreational dancing in the Twin Cities for many years. Her profession as a classroom music K-6 teacher offered her opportunities to develop children's/teens dance troupes that have performed all over the US, and represented Israel at the Minnesota Festival of Nations. Presently Shira is a certified fitness instructor/choreographer and loves to dabble in all forms of dance movement. Cost: $12 General | $10 Members | $7 Young Adult & Youth (Ages 10 -21)
