Description: Concert Celebrating Native American Heritage Month Mikaela Pace, Native American Soprano Marti Mortensen Ahern, Piano Saturday, November 8th, 2025 4pm Studio A: 6448 E Hwy 290 Suite D-102 Austin, TX 78723 We will be presenting works about and by several Native American composers including Connor Chee (b. 1987, Navajo), Charles Shadle (b. 1960, Choctaw), Kiegan Ryan (b. 2002, Cherokee) and others. We will also discuss the tribes who lived on this land (Austin area) before it was settled. “This project is supported in part by the City of Austin Office of Arts, Culture, Music and Entertainment.” "This project is supported in part by a grant from Mu Phi Epsilon Foundation."
