Description: This class is designed for dancers who have a solid grasp of the basics and are eager to expand their repertoire with more complex and fluid movements. Pre- requisite: Salsa Class Beginners Each week, we’ll break down a new move, focusing on the technique and connection that will make you a more confident and stylish dancer. We’ll go beyond the foundational steps to cover a wide range of essential intermediate patterns and styling, including: Turns and Spins: Master your inside and outside turns, double spins, and the elegant 360 and Hand Toss moves. Intricate Patterns: Learn to execute the 360, wrap, as well as various Cross Body Lead variations like the U-Turn and Spiral. Footwork and Styling: Enhance your rhythm and flair with advanced footwork like the Suzy Q, Front Tap, and Mambo Step. We’ll also work on styling with a wrap and improving your posture and upper body movement. This class is your chance to refine your technique, improve your lead-follow connection, and add a variety of fun and dynamic moves to your salsa vocabulary. Join us and elevate your dance! Details: No partner necessary — rotations ensure everyone gets to dance. Please wear non-marking shoe soles to protect the floor. Arrive 10 minutes early to warm up and get settled. Date & Time: Tuesdays @ 6:30PM – 7:30PM
