Lauded by The Los Angeles Times for performances that are "astonishing…the kind of sublimity other quartets spend a lifet ime searching for," Calidore will perform two of the most compel ling pieces in the string quartet repertoire: Shostakovich's 8th quartet and Beethoven's masterpiece, the Quartet in C-sharp Mino r, Opus 131.
