Description: The Garrett County Chamber of Commerce presents the annual Fire on the Mountain Fireworks Display. Fireworks launched from the top of the tubing hill at the Mountain Park at Wisp Resort out toward the waters of Deep Creek Lake. Viewing spots include the scenic overlook on Rt. 219, McHenry Cove on Deep Creek Lake and businesses in McHenry. Rain date: July 5th. If there is inclement weather on July 4th, please check this page or tune your radio to our local stations and media partners, 104.5 WKHJ, 92.3 WKTQ, 95.9 WKTZ and 1050 WMSG radio, for live updates on the status of the fireworks. Wisp Resort hosts a free Stage Wisp concert before the Fireworks display. Enjoy FREE live music from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm under the saddle tent on the front lawn at Wisp - don't forget your blanket and lawn chairs!
