Description: The Music Roadtrip app is rolling into Seattle, Washington, a city permanently stamped by the sounds that came out of its clubs and garages. Grunge put it on the global map, but the city was already running on loud rooms, basement shows, and bands treating rehearsal spaces like second homes. Today’s scene stretches across indie, hip-hop, electronic, and roots music, and several legendary venues are still in action. Here are five of our favorite stops. 🧭 Visit Seattle (@visitseattle) is the city’s official tourism organization and the most reliable place to track concerts, festivals, and major cultural events across Seattle. It functions as a practical starting point for planning around what’s actually happening in the city. 🎶 Emerald City Music (@emeraldcitymusic) is a Seattle based nonprofit presenter focused on classical, contemporary, and chamber music. It is best known for thoughtfully programmed concerts in intimate venues, drawing both local audiences and internationally respected performers. 🏛️ Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) (@mopopseattle) is the Frank Gehry–designed museum at Seattle Center, originally launched as the Experience Music Project.
